Bachelor’s Degree - Engineering and Information Technology
My internship as a Web and E-commerce Management intern at flowers square has been the most rewarding and motivational experience I have had during my time as a student at Ajman University. I connected with my mentor, team, and other company staff, all of whom supported my growth as an E-commerce and digital marketer, both directly and indirectly.
With such compassionate and supportive mentors, this experience has helped me achieve my goal of completing my bachelor's program for my degree. Because of the lessons, I learned not only from my supervisor and cooperating colleagues but from partners, too, I am confident that I will continue to grow and develop professionally and in my endeavours.
Within my internship, two distinct learning experiences stand out to me as the most influential aspects of my development: understanding customer needs to satisfy them and following the technology trends to stay in the competition. All through the support and mentorship of my supervisor and the team. Through the application of time management, organisation, discipline and consistent practice, my digital marketing, and e-commerce skills improved greatly. I was able to implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the company website, and social media of the company. Also, I have coordinated with all web-related stakeholders to ensure high conversion rates. Additionally, developing different skills like managing the daily processes, planning, and communicating effectively with partners.
Through using different ways to achieve collaboration and engagement with new partners and sharing our business and platform, the company was able to make significant gains. I am confident in my growth and development. I would not have the knowledge or skills I have today if it were not for my internship experience with my supervisor and cooperating team and colleagues.
I’m looking forward to where my career in E-commerce and digital marketing takes me in the future.
